Bhojraj Bhat

Mr. Bhoj Raj Bhat: Mr. Bhat is a Journalist-turned filmmaker originally from Kailali district, Far-West Nepal. A Masters in Journalism and Mass Communication, Mr Bhat worked for nearly one and half decades as a journalist during the height of Maoist insurgency in Nepal in mid-1990s through 2000s. His debut film, Sunakali, is about a journey of young girl footballers from impoverished and socially backward Mugu who win a major national tournament. It has won nearly 40 international awards and has been shown in 85 countries so far. He is also the recipient of Dream Asia Award 2019 given by Asian Football Confederation for his contribution to bring social change through football in the remote community of Nepal
